Emma Hadley - Chief Executive Officer
Emma is ‘proud and privileged’ to be Chief Executive Officer of the Voyage Education Partnership. She has overall responsibility for the work of our Trust, providing strategic vision and leadership as well as development of our academies and Shared Services Team.
Emma has worked in education for over 20 years and has held many roles including Headteacher, Executive Headteacher and Senior Education Advisor. She was previously Education Director for a national Multi-Academy Trust and has experience of leadership in primary, secondary and special schools.
Emma has worked in schools and academies in challenging circumstances and is proud to have led and supported many in their journey from ‘special measures’ to ‘good’. She regularly speaks at conferences across the country and is an active advocate for female leadership.
Emma is relishing the challenge of leading Voyage to its next exciting stage of development and growth, and says it is a real honour to serve her local community in Lincolnshire.

Wayne Oldfield - Chief Operating Officer
Wayne takes responsibility for several of the non-educational operational functions at Voyage, such as Human Resources, Health, Safety and Estates, Digital and Information Systems, Catering Operations, Business Continuity, and Marketing and Communications.
He joined the Trust in August 2020, having worked in the public sector since 2004.
In his previous role he was a Director in a large national MAT, having been a senior leader in a Lincolnshire secondary school prior to this.
Wayne has a passion for the outdoors and outdoor education, he is an ‘ordinary member’ of the Outdoor Education Advisors’ Panel and acts as the Trust’s Educational Visits Advisor.
In formal recognition of his extensive experience of both strategic and operational leadership within the sector, Wayne was awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Management Institute in January 2020.
Wayne represents the Trust as a board member of the Boston Town Deal, the body responsible for £21.9m in Town Deal funding from the Government to deliver an ambitious vision that will level-up Boston and bring transformational improvements.

Clare Willerton - Chief Education Officer
Clare is responsible for the development and implementation of our education strategy.
Clare provides educational strategic leadership and direction, is responsible for our educational performance, and leads our education professionals - which includes line-managing and developing our education team and Voyage headteachers.
She is a National Pupil Premium Reviewer and has been a headteacher, lead teacher of English and maths, and leader of maths, IT and technology, SENDCO, and SLT. She worked for the Lincolnshire School Improvement Service for five years as a School Improvement Consultant and trained as National Strategy Maths Consultant.
Over the course of a decade Clare worked within the education team of a large MAT. Her roles included leading on the improvement and development of Lincolnshire-based academies that serve communities of high deprivation and mobility, developing CPD strategy, and leading on a number of other strategies.
Educational Ethos: Clare is passionate about inspirational learning, development and leadership, and providing equality and learning opportunities for all. She wants learners to achieve their true capabilities and to empower learners/leaders to achieve their goals. She believes everyone has the capability to learn and that strong and purposeful collaboration builds leadership capacity, leading to sustained school improvement.

Jon Jackson - Chief Finance Officer
Jon is Voyage’s Chief Financial Officer and is Trust lead for Finance and Governance.
He has worked for our Trust since 2014, having previously worked in an accountancy practice specialising in the education sector, and is ACCA qualified.
Jon has provided strong financial leadership to the Trust and continues to ensure it is in a stable financial position.
